Summary
  • The ring (silent film): A boxer's wife comes back to him and supports his winning the title. His opponent from Australia is also in love with the wife
  • The manxman (Hitchcock's last silent film): a lawyer and a fisherman fall in love with the same woman. She marries one, but she loves the other
  • Murder: An actress is convicted of murder, but one of the jurists is the only person who believes in her innocence and painstakingly reconstructs a murder to prove her innocent
  • The skin game: Story about a conflict between two wealthy families. One is the established gentry, the other is a progressive newcomer who buys up much of the land in the area for industrial development. Story centers on their attempts to destroy one another
  • Rich and strange: Having suddenly come into a large sum of money, a discontented bickering young couple decide to take a world cruise which starts them on a series of adventures
